Hirslanden AG, based in Zurich, is the leading private hospital group in Switzerland with 17 hospitals in 10 cantons, 5 outpatient surgery centers, various radiology institutes and more than 2,500 specialists under its roof.

In 2015, the Executive Board of the Hirslanden Group developed the new Strategy 2020, which provided for the introduction of a new operating model (process, organization and ICT model) for all processes relating to the administrative handling of your business in order to realize synergy effects with shared services.

Goal

As part of the HIT2020 project, the administrative support processes were to be standardized and harmonized wherever possible in order to enable the automation of process flows with a uniform ICT platform and to be able to realize synergies/scale effects. A uniform organizational model should also create the conditions for the comparability of the key performance indicators of the clinics and the other business units in order to further optimize performance.
