How to make use of AI in automotive retail?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer a dream of the future; it is already a reality and is changing our world. Automotive retail is not exempt from this innovative technology either. After all, AI systems can automate processes, increase customer satisfaction, and reduce costs. But what are the specific areas of application at the dealer?
  • AI chatbots and voice bots on the website or smartphones can advise customers, answer questions, schedule sales appointments, schedule service calls, and reply to and forward calls.
  • AI document management systems automate the archiving of documents in after-sales services, order management, and financial accounting, and reply to and forward calls.
  • AI sales assistance analyzes customer behavior and can recommend personalized offers, order configurations, and financial assistance options.
The automotive industry has already recognized the benefits of AI and successfully deployed it in production and logistics. Now it’s the dealer’s turn to benefit from this technology, which is already available. This is because AI systems can be easily integrated into dealer management systems and complement them in various ways.
